The Mode of participation this year is Drama Presentation and Poetry. The Competition will involve making of video skit of not more than 2 minutes by a Student or group of students. The final stage will involve both physical stage drama and poetry recitation.
The First phase of the Debate will strictly be video skits of not more than 2mins on drug abuse.
All participants will be required to upload their entries to Google Drive and share to submit to our official email at dicacpn2017@gmail.com for prequalification for the next stage.
The best 10 Video skits will be selected for upload on our chosen social media handles (Facebook, Twitter or Instagram) where they will be subjected to further evaluation by the number of likes they garner. The Schools (students) with the best four entries will be invited for physical/stage drama and Poem recitation during the Opening Ceremony of our 42nd Annual National Scientific Conference later this year

The ACPN National Anti-drug Abuse Competition is the brainchild of the Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria (ACPN) which aligns with the United Nations International Standards on drug use (abuse) prevention. The Competition which started 6 years ago is structured to commemorate the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking which comes up on the 26th of June every year.
The essence of the Competition is to create distaste for the substance of abuse among young people, thereby establishing their feet on a brighter and beautiful future.Gold: 250k
